My Special Person

This means including deeper features such as:
  • personal voice
  • ideas that are important to the story
  • a clear structure
  • exciting vocabulary
Please support our learning by providing feedback in the form of compliments and wishes.

My special person is my auntie her name is Sarah but I call her Auntie Sarah. She is warm, engaging,   loving, caring and amazing.

Auntie Sarah has amazing greeny bluey glowing eyes and her smile seems as big as 10 tennis balls. She has warm silky skin and silky brown hair. Her voice is calm and encouraging. She smells like a flower that has just bloomed. She adores perky nannas I remember when we ate 20 perky nannas and we kept it a secret because they were meant for after dinner and its still kept a secret and it always will be. She enjoys shopping, sunbathing, relaxing and fun I love her so much and she does to.

I love my Auntie Sarah she is really special to me and I love it when she comes to New Zealand.

How is culture reflected through the arts?

Over the last few weeks Room14 have been focusing on ancient Greek culture this includes dance, music, drama, and art. We are doing this so we can understand more about our culture and the culture of others.
Here is a selection of our work.
Please comment on our work.

What makes a great post?

Today we  made a list of the types of posts that we would like to see on our class blog.  Treva has made a start by surveying the class on their  favourite music. Lucy and Keilani have started drafting a post about our class inquiry.

Here are some of the things that we decided were vital for  safe and successful posting:
  • Only use your first name
  • Only use sensible and appropriate language
  • Draft your post and have it checked by a teacher before publishing
  • Never write or give out personal details- this includes phone number and address
  • Ask permission before you post a photo of some-one else
